Vanderlande Acquires Siemens Airport Logistics Division
Vanderlande, a specialist in future-proof logistic process automation for warehousing, airports, and parcel sectors, has finalized an agreement to acquire Siemens Logistics. Siemens Logistics, a provider of value-added baggage and cargo handling solutions, as well as digital solutions for future airport operations, was previously owned by Siemens. This acquisition has garnered full approval and backing from the Supervisory and Management Boards of both Vanderlande and its parent company, Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), along with the Management Board of Siemens. The acquisition is set to establish a strong base for Vanderlande's sustainable growth in the broader automated logistics market, leveraging the significant and dependable performance of its airport business.
