Petrobras hires two more DOF vessels
Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has won two long-term contracts in Brazil with state-owned oil firm Petrobras.Petrobras hired the 2005-built <em>Skandi Chieftain</em> and the 2009-built <em>Skandi Olympia</em> on a four-year contract. The two contracts have a combined value of approximately $200m.Both vessels will operate with one work-class ROV and are expected to start work in October 2026. The vessels are currently on hire with Petrobras under a three-year deal.According to DOF, the contracts for the two vessels were won following the same competitive tender process that resulted in the contract awards for the <em>Skandi Achiever</em>, <em>Skandi Carla</em>, <em>Geoholm</em>, and <em>Skandi Salvador</em>.
