Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) has announced new leadership appointments to strengthen its global executive structure and support its expansion strategy. Mauricio Carrasco will become Regional CEO for Europe, leading the company’s operations across the continent starting March 15. At the same time, Rodrigo Galleguillos has been appointed Regional CEO for Latin America, succeeding Carrasco. The leadership changes form part of HGT’s long-term strategy to expand its global network and strengthen operational capabilities in key markets. According to Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals, the new structure supports the company’s ambition to operate 30 terminals worldwide by 2030. Carrasco brings extensive experience in the global maritime and port sector. He previously served as Managing Director at SAAM Terminals, Senior Director at Hapag-Lloyd in Dubai and Shanghai, and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Compañía Sudamericana de Vapores (CSAV). Galleguillos also has broad experience in maritime, port and logistics operations across Latin America, having held several management positions in the sector.
