South Korean shipbuilding giant Hanwha Ocean has secured a significant contract from US energy behemoth Chevron to fabricate modules for the Leviathan field expansion. This project, situated offshore Israel, involves building additional components that will be integrated with the existing platform, thereby boosting the field's production capacity. Hanwha Ocean's involvement with Chevron on this project commenced in the third quarter of 2024.
