MITSUI E&S has signed a contract to develop and deploy a new service platform at the Shimizu Port Container Terminal, operated by Suzuyo Co., Ltd. The platform will connect the terminal’s operating system with container haulage companies’ dispatch systems, enabling real-time data sharing across previously separate systems.
By integrating truck arrival schedules and cargo data with vessel handling plans and crane operations, the solution will help optimize container placement, equipment preparation, and dispatch planning.

The platform also includes Lanescope: Recommended Lane Ranking, which analyzes live terminal traffic and ranks container lanes by congestion level. This supports smoother truck flows and avoids scheduling conflicts with vessel operations.
Since 2024, MITSUI E&S has offered Trucker View, allowing drivers to check container locations and lane access via smartphone or tablet, reducing on-site workload. The new features will be integrated into the company’s TO (Truck Operation Management System), expanding efficiency gains across port and land logistics.
The initiative supports greater terminal productivity, improved collaboration between logistics stakeholders, and contributes to addressing industry-wide issues such as labor shortages, advancing a more sustainable logistics infrastructure.
