The Management Committee of Yangpu Economic Development Zone, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Ports Group, CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal, and Hainan Harbor & Shipping International Port Co., Ltd., has initiated a new phase of collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement is designed to expedite the connectivity between the sister ports of Yangpu Port and Abu Dhabi Terminal. The objective is to elevate both ports to the status of key regional hubs, thereby boosting bilateral and regional economic and trade exchanges between China and the United Arab Emirates.

The signing ceremony was held simultaneously in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Haikou, Hainan Province, China.

Abu Dhabi Port and Yangpu Port are central to COSCO SHIPPING's operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The prominent Chinese shipping company employs an integrated strategy of "investment, construction, and operation" at these facilities. This approach has resulted in the development of advanced maritime infrastructure and the establishment of state-of-the-art integrated logistics parks. The vision is to create a new generation of digital, intelligent, and environmentally friendly free trade ports, offering clients comprehensive "end-to-end" digital supply chain solutions and services.
