Solstad secures fresh round of AHTS and CSV contracts worth $50m
Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Maritime has landed a series of new contracts for its anchor handlers and subsea support tonnage, adding roughly 700 vessel days of firm work across several regions.The Oslo-listed company said the deals, valued at about $50m, cover operations in the Asia-Pacific and Mediterranean.In the Asia-Pacific region, the AHTS vessels <em>Normand Saracen</em> and <em>Normand Scorpion</em> have been fixed to an undisclosed operator for a combined 516 firm days with a further 358 days in options. Both contracts are due to commence in the first quarter of 2026. The <em>Normand Scorpion</em> has also secured two shorter-term jobs with tier-one EPIC contractors for subsea installation campaigns in the same region, starting in December and running for up to two months.In Europe, the construction support vessel <em>Normand Sapphire</em> has picked up work with an unnamed operator in the Mediterranean Sea, starting immediately for 60 firm days with options to extend. Meanwhile, the <em>Normand Baltic</em> has had its current contract extended until the end of 2025, adding about 100 firm days plus additional options.
