Mitsui E&S Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Takeyuki Takahashi) has completed its first in-house manufactured MITSUI-Everllence TCT turbocharger for the MITSUI-Everllence B&W engine. The new model, named TCT40, will be installed on the 6S60ME-C10.5-EGRBP engine currently under production.
The TCT40 offers better maintainability and longer service intervals than conventional models. Mitsui E&S achieved this by optimizing design and material selection for the rotating components. When combined with the company’s e-GICS Advance and CMAXS LC-A monitoring systems, it allows for more precise and timely maintenance.
Mitsui E&S has been producing Everllence turbochargers since 1981 under a licensing agreement with Everllence. Over the past 40 years, it has manufactured and sold more than 4,000 units.
Building on decades of engine and turbocharger expertise, Mitsui E&S continues to pursue technological innovation and stable production. The company remains dedicated to supporting customers throughout the full vessel lifecycle, from newbuilds to after-sales service.
