DHL CEO Tobias Meyer indicated that companies are beginning to explore the possibility of unloading export cargo from Asia at ports in the Indian subcontinent. This cargo would then be rerouted for onward shipment into the Gulf region. However, Meyer stressed that this practice has not yet become a widespread trend.
