India's The Great Eastern Shipping has maintained its consistent fleet renewal efforts, acquiring another secondhand bulk carrier as it strategically reshapes its portfolio. The Mumbai-listed company announced it has agreed to purchase a Japanese-built kamsarmax vessel from 2014. While specific details of the transaction were not disclosed, the 81,094 deadweight tonnage ship is expected to be integrated into the fleet soon.
