Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has secured a one-year contract extension for one of its platform suppliers (PSV) from compatriot energy major Equinor.Havila revealed that Equinor exercised an option for the 2012-built <em>Havila Charisma</em> until December 2026.When the option expires, Equinor will have one more one-year option thereafter, until December 2027.The vessel has been contracted to Equinor since delivery and was upgraded with battery packages and shore power equipment in 2018.Apart from the <em>Havila Charisma</em>, the company owns five more platform suppliers. In total, the Norwegian firm has a fleet of nine vessels.
