UK-headquartered oilfield services specialist EnerMech has won a new two-year extension to its contract with BP Trinidad and Tobago, continuing offshore crane operations on 12 of the operator’s Caribbean platforms.Originally contracted in 2022, the work includes crane operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, minor modifications, and offshore auditing. Onshore support, covering technical, planning, and HSE functions, is also part of the package.The workforce comprises about 30 Trinidad and Tobago nationals, filling roles from crane operators to supervisors and logistics support staff.The new contract adds to EnerMech’s recent growth after most recently securing a three-year support contract for the Dana Petroleum Triton FPSO in the North Sea, with options for two additional two-year extensions.
