Supertanker specialist DHT has fixed one of its vessels on a one-year contract.The New York-listed revealed in its annual report it had recently sealed a deal with an undisclosed charterer for the 2017-built <em>DHT Tiger</em>.Out of 23 VLCCs currently in DHT’s fleet, seven ships are locked in on time charter contracts.The latest fixture is set to start at the end of March at $52,500 per day.In related news, DHT has recently been linked to some S&P activity and exit of older tonnage, which the company has yet to confirm.
