Waberer’s Group has strengthened its regional presence with the opening of a new 20,000m² logistics facility in Zohor, Slovakia, marking a major step in its strategy to become the leading integrated logistics provider in Central and Eastern Europe.

Building on decades of experience in Hungary, where Waberer’s has delivered complex, value-added logistics solutions to major industrial players, the new Zohor facility extends these capabilities across the region.

The warehouse manages the full handling process for automotive parts — from unloading and packaging checks to labeling, storage, and just-in-time delivery to production lines — ensuring seamless supply chain support for one of the industry’s most demanding sectors.

The operation has already been audited under the German automotive VDA 6.3 standard, confirming that Waberer’s processes meet the industry’s high quality expectations. Looking ahead, the company plans to diversify its customer base in Slovakia and launch domestic road transport operations.

“Complex knowledge, sector-specific solutions and long-standing partnerships are what make Waberer’s logistics segment unique. For decades, we have proven our reliability to the largest industrial players, and with this new investment, we are strengthening this expertise in Slovakia as well,” said Szilárd Cser, Managing Director of Waberer’s Logistics Segment.

The Zohor center will create over 50 new jobs, including roles for forklift drivers, team leaders, and management staff. Waberer’s has operated in Slovakia since 2006, primarily supporting Slovnaft refineries in Bratislava, and the new site represents its expansion into the country’s growing automotive logistics sector.
