Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Maritime has landed a series of new contracts for its anchor handlers and subsea support tonnage, adding roughly 700 vessel days of firm work across several regions.
The Oslo-listed company said the deals, valued at about $50m, cover operations in the Asia-Pacific and Mediterranean.
In the Asia-Pacific region, the AHTS vessels Normand Saracen and Normand Scorpion have been fixed to an undisclosed operator for a combined 516 firm days with a further 358 days in options. Both contracts are due to commence in the first quarter of 2026. The Normand Scorpion has also secured two shorter-term jobs with tier-one EPIC contractors for subsea installation campaigns in the same region, starting in December and running for up to two months.
In Europe, the construction support vessel Normand Sapphire has picked up work with an unnamed operator in the Mediterranean Sea, starting immediately for 60 firm days with options to extend. Meanwhile, the Normand Baltic has had its current contract extended until the end of 2025, adding about 100 firm days plus additional options.
