Pulsar International has committed to deploying Inmarsat Maritime’s NexusWave service across more than 300 vessels over the next 12 months. The large-scale rollout marks a major step in delivering secure, high-speed connectivity at sea.
NexusWave combines GEO Ka-band, LEO, LTE, and L-band networks to provide reliable, global coverage. It supports vessel digitalisation, decarbonisation goals, and improved crew welfare with high-quality onboard internet.
To support the expansion, Pulsar will grow its global sales teams and service delivery capacity to ensure smooth installation and 24/7 support. “Our customers expect secure, dependable, future-ready solutions,” said Robert Sakker, CEO of Pulsar. “We’re proud to bring NexusWave to more than 300 vessels in the coming year.”
Inmarsat Maritime President Ben Palmer called the move a sign of growing demand for secure, multi-network maritime connectivity. Installations begin in October 2025.
