Rhenus Group has expanded its operational model in the UAE, strengthening its presence and service delivery across the Gulf region. The move marks a shift from a limited setup to a fully integrated local presence, enabling Rhenus to better serve clients in the Emirates and beyond.

As part of the expansion, Rhenus is opening a new office in Abu Dhabi and rolling out enhanced Air & Ocean products, connecting the Far East with Europe and the Americas through the UAE as a strategic transshipment hub.

The company will continue to focus on its core Air & Ocean Freight services, adding staff and infrastructure to ensure stability and service quality.

Rhenus has also been named the official freight forwarder and on-site handling agent for dmg events’ exhibitions at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre, including INDEX Saudi Arabia and ORGATEC – WORKSPACE.

“Our UAE expansion reflects our commitment to building a more agile logistics network and supporting the region’s role as a global trade hub,” said Jan Harnisch, Board Member – Air & Ocean.

Rhenus’ sector-focused approach includes tailored solutions for FMCG, fashion, aerospace, pharma, automotive, and oil & gas projects, supporting growth across key industries in the GCC.
