Freightos (NASDAQ: CRGO) has partnered with YTO Cargo Airlines (600233.SH), one of China’s top five cargo carriers, to bring YTO’s full capacity exclusively to the WebCargo by Freightos platform. This makes YTO the first all-cargo Chinese airline available on the platform, joining more than 75 airlines already live.

The collaboration gives freight forwarders real-time rates, instant booking, interline connections, and integrated payments on high-demand lanes between China and South Asia. Initial routes will focus on India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, with plans to expand to the Persian Gulf and Europe.

The partnership comes as YTO celebrates its 10th anniversary and continues its digital transformation. By joining WebCargo, the carrier will reduce booking confirmation times from up to 48 hours to just minutes, speeding up capacity access for shipments ranging from perishables and pharmaceuticals to electronics and e-commerce goods.

“By bringing YTO’s dedicated freighter network onto Freightos’ platform, we’re removing friction where it matters most and making global trade smoother,” said Joyce Tai, EVP of Worldwide Partnerships at Freightos.

Hong Xiang Li, President of YTO Cargo Airlines, added, “Joining WebCargo enhances our digital capabilities and diversifies our distribution channels. This collaboration supports our global expansion and helps us become a world-class integrated logistics provider.”
