Taiwanese box carrier Yang Ming aims to optimize its intra-Asia service network by enhancing its Japan (Kansai) – Taiwan – South China route (Japan Kansai Express, JKX).
Effective in early March, the route will be extended to the port of Haiphong in Vietnam to meet the country’s growing market demand.
“This extension aims to strengthen Yang Ming’s competitive position in Southeast Asia, capitalize on the opportunities in the region’s emerging economies, and drive business growth in the intra-Asia Market, offering customers broader, more reliable, and more efficient transport services,” commented a company’s representative.
The enhanced JKX service will offer a 21-day round voyage with a fixed weekly sailing schedule.
The updated port rotation of JKX service will be Osaka (Japan) – Kobe (Japan) – Keelung (Taiwan) – Kaohsiung (Taiwan) – Nansha (China) – Shekou (China) – Haiphong (Vietnam) – Hong Kong – Shekou – Osaka.
