Norwegian OSV owner Havila Shipping has secured a contract for one of its platform supply vessels (PSVs) with French energy giant TotalEnergies.
According to an Oslo Børs filing, TotalEnergies’s Norwegian arm hired the Havila Herøy platform supplier for a period of 136 days.
Havila Shipping added in the statement that the contract is expected to commence in the first half of March.
The vessel’s previous contract was with Norwegian giant Equinor. In June 2024, the energy firm hired the Havila Herøy, along with two other PSVs, the Havila Clipper and Havila Fanø, for a fixed period of 12 months.
The contracts, which began at the end of July 2024, included six optional one-month extensions.
