Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has won a contract for one of its CSV vessels with Petrobras.
The Brazilian state-owned oil and gas company hired the 1999-built construction support vessel Normand Pioneer.
The vessel will be mobilised with an Ampelmann heave-compensated E-type gangway system and will begin work in October 2025.
The duration of the contract is 180 days firm and has a gross value of approximately $17m, including mobilisation.
The vessel, owned by Solstad Maritime, will be on bareboat contracts to Solstad Offshore, which is the contract holder with Petrobras. Solstad Offshore holds 27,3% of the shares in Solstad Maritime.
