SITC Ship Management Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the initial audit for the Chinese Flag Document of Compliance (DOC) conducted by the China Maritime Safety Administration (MSA), marking a key step in strengthening its safety management and operational standards.

The audit took place on 23–24 October 2025 at SITC Ship Management Shandong and covered one container vessel, MV Hai Feng Hai Kou. In line with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code and MSA requirements, auditors reviewed the company’s Safety Management System (SMS), ship–shore coordination, operational processes, and compliance records.

Furthermore, auditors commended the company’s achievements in ship–shore management and confirmed that no major non-conformities were identified. All ship-shore activities were found to be in full compliance with the SMS and relevant international conventions. The audit team also offered guidance and suggestions to further refine documentation and management practices.

Moreover, on 6 November 2025, Ma Daojiu, Director of the Shandong Maritime Safety Administration, attended the audit’s final meeting at SITC Ship Management Shandong. He outlined higher expectations for the company’s future development and formally announced that the organisation had successfully passed the Chinese Flag DOC initial audit.

The company said the result reflects its commitment to maintaining high safety management standards and strengthening operational reliability across its managed fleet.
