Hong Kong-based shipping line SITC has announced the revision of its Japan/China-Philippines network.

SITC decided to add the new CPX4 service and change the existing CPX1, CPX6 and CPX7 services, according to Alphaliner report.

The new and revised rotations will be as follows:

  • CPX1: Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Manila, Batangas, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Shanghai and back to Dalian – operated by four 2,500 TEU container ships
  • CPX4: Shanghai, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Subic Bay, Manila and back to Shanghai – operated by three 1,000 TEU container ships
  • CPX6: Tianjin, Yantai, Qingdao, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Xiamen, Subic Bay, Batangas, Manila, Cebu and Tianjin – operated by four 2,500 TEU container ships
  • CPX7: Shanghai, Xiamen, Iloilo, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro and back to Shanghai – operated by two 800 TEU container ships.

Additionally, the ocean carrier will make changes in the China/Japan-Vietnam/Thailand trade network, removing Bangkok and Laem Chabang from VTX2 and replacing them with Hong Kong and Da Nang. The latter port will consequently be dropped from CJV7. Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh (northbound) will also be removed from VTX1.

The new itineraries will be as follows:

  • VTX1: Sakai, Osaka, Kobe, Busan, Shanghai, Xiamen, Ho Chi Minh, Sihanoukville, Laem Chabang, Xiamen, Shanghai and back to Sakai
