CEVA Logistics, a global third-party logistics leader, has signed a five-year contract with SANCEV, a French start-up. CEVA will assemble and distribute SANCEV’s electric conversion kits. The kits will go to partner garages and selected commercial vehicle fleets.

SANCEV aims to electrify vehicle fleets. It chose CEVA to handle assembly, storage, and delivery. The kits convert combustion vehicles to electric.

The work will take place at CEVA’s Marly-la-Ville site near Paris. Deliveries of parts and accessories start in November. CEVA will assemble these into complete retrofit kits.

CEVA will ship the kits across France to certified garages. Garages will convert vehicles for local authorities and private companies. Volumes will rise gradually, reaching 1,550 kits in 2027 and 3,000 in 2028. This matches the growing trend of electrification in French fleets.

CEVA will also install kits on vehicles at its Blyes and Marly-la-Ville workshops. Professionals will remove the combustion engine and fuel tank. They will fit an electric motor and battery pack.

France has over one million electric passenger vehicles registered in 2024. SANCEV offers an alternative to buying new EVs. Its solution supports the circular economy and cuts fleet emissions.

Amaury Montay, CEVA’s Contract Logistics France Director, said: “Decarbonizing commercial fleets is challenging. We are proud to provide logistics expertise and support SANCEV’s growth. Their solution is innovative and sustainable.”

Stéphane Durand, SANCEV Co-founder, said: “Nationwide preparation and delivery is key. It helps us meet clients’ needs across France. Partnering with CEVA ensures high service quality while focusing on sustainability.”
