Johan Praetorius has been appointed as the new Marketing Manager of Cargo at Ports of Stockholm.

With his experience and expertise in transport and logistics, he will strengthen the marketing and sales department, creating new opportunities for the continued development of Ports of Stockholm.

“I am very pleased to have been given this opportunity. Ports of Stockholm is a critical infrastructure operator with a key role in developing modern logistics solutions for the Greater Stockholm Region. I am really looking forward to working with my new colleagues and customers and to contribute to the continued development of Ports of Stockholm and the entire region,” stated Praetorius, who will take over his role on 20 March.

Most recently, he served as Commercial Manager at the RoRo shipping company Lakeway Link. He also brings significant experience from the container shipping sector, having worked with companies such as Hamburg Süd/Maersk and Hapag Lloyd. Additionally, he has held commercial positions at the freight forwarding company DHL.

“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Johan Praetorius as the new Marketing Manager Cargo at Ports of Stockholm. With his background and broad experience from different parts of the industry, he is an important reinforcement to the marketing and sales department. Together with Johan, we can optimise our wide range of services and create even better conditions for the continued development of Ports of Stockholm,” said Johan Wallén, Chief Commercial Officer at Ports of Stockholm.
