Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd (PIL) has marked a key milestone in the expansion of its intra-Asia network with the successful maiden call of its Korea-China-Indonesia (KCI) Service at Indonesia’s PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT).
The company’s vessel Kota Nasrat, which is operating on the newly launched KCI service, arrived at JICT on 20 November, marking the first call of this service in Indonesia since its launch in October.
To commemorate the occasion, JICT Vice President Director Mr. Budi Cahyono presented commemorative plaques to the vessel’s Master, Captain Zhao Junjie, and Chief Officer Twenger Syed Muhammad Zeeshan, recognising the importance of the event and the strengthening ties between PIL and JICT.
The launch of the KCI Service reflects PIL’s ongoing commitment to investing in Indonesia’s fast-growing trade market and enhancing connectivity across Northeast and Southeast Asia. By placing customers at the centre of its network strategy, PIL continues to expand service coverage and improve cargo flow efficiency between key manufacturing and consumption hubs.
The new service strengthens trade links between Korea, China and Indonesia, while also providing direct connectivity to Vietnam, further supporting regional supply chains. PIL aims to reinforce its position as a leading carrier in the intra-Asia market by continuously improving network reliability and service reach.
