Pacific International Lines (PIL) has announced the opening of its new office located in the center of Santiago, Chile.

This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in the Singaporean ocean carrier’s commitment to growing its presence in Latin America and enhancing services for the Chilean market.

The new office will serve both PIL Chile as a country and PIL Regional office as a hub for the company’s operations in Latin America.

“We are thrilled to open our new office in Santiago, which underscores our commitment to the Latin American market,” pointed out Nicolas Romero, Regional Head of Latin America at PIL. “Chile is a key market for us, and this expansion allows us to better serve our customers, offering them more tailored and responsive services.”

With the opening of the Santiago office, PIL aims to strengthen its network to and from Chile in dry and reefer shipments, enhancing its ability to support the growing demand for container shipping in Chile. In addition to boosting PIL’s services, the new office will also focus on intermodal logistics solutions, leveraging Chile’s road networks to provide seamless and efficient transportation options across the region.
