Brazilian state-owned oil and gas giant Petrobras is inviting vessel owners and operators to apply to tenders for the provision of a total of 11 walk-to-work vessels.
According to the tender documentation provided by Arctic Offshore, there are three separate tenders open for the vessels.
The first closes today and is for two vessels that can hold at least 80 people on board. The contract is for 730 days with mobilisation to occur between September and December 2025.
The second will close on Friday, July 18, and is for three vessels. They must hold between 40 and 60 people on board. The deal doesn’t have a fixed number of days, but it is stated that the charter period would be between 540 and 1,095 days. Mobilisation would occur between February 2026 and June 2027.
The final call is for six W2W vessels with the capacity to house 60 people on board. The contract is for 730 days, with mobilisation set for July and September 2026. The tender will close on July 23.
Apart from these vessels, Petrobras also has a long-term tender open for two anchor handlers. The 300-tonne bollard pull vessels would be chartered for either 8, 10, or 12 years, and the charter would start a whole five years after the award. Tender closes on September 30.
