

Pakistan has offered Bangladesh the use of its Karachi Port Trust, one of South Asia’s largest and busiest deep-water seaports, to facilitate Bangladesh’s trade with China and other countries.
Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, made the offer on Monday, October 27, at the 9th Session of the Bangladesh-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission (JEC) held in Dhaka. The Bangladesh side was represented by Finance Adviser of the interim government, Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed.
