Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the expansion of its operations in the West Asia region with the appointment of Seaway Logistics Maldives Pvt Ltd as its new agent in Male, Maldives.
In conjunction with this strategic move, ONE is launching a weekly feeder service between Colombo and Male to meet the growing import demands of the Maldives. The new service will strengthen the nation’s connectivity to major global trade hubs and integrate it more efficiently into ONE’s extensive worldwide network.
The enhanced service is designed to support import and export cargo movement, promoting trade growth and facilitating the flow of goods to and from the Maldives.
Sundeep Sibal, Regional Head of Ocean Network Express West Asia LLC, said: “Our new service will enhance connectivity and deliver cargo efficiently between Male and the rest of ONE’s global network, thereby facilitating opportunities for further trade growth.”
