Ocean Network Express has officially added ONE Singapore to its growing fleet, marking the sixth unit in a series of 20 next-generation, ammonia- and methanol-ready containerships.
The naming ceremony was held at the Hiroshima Shipyard of Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan.
The new vessels has a capacity of 13,900 TEU and it’s methanol and ammonia-ready. ONE Singapore follows the successful delivery of ONE Sparkle, the company’s first self-owned newbuild and her sister ships.
Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE, stated that ONE Singapore signifies further progress in the fleet expansion strategy.
