omoqo has rolled out its first commercial Terminal Operating System (TOS) at Cargo-Terminal Lehmann (CTL) in the Port of Lübeck. The Hamburg-based startup, backed by HHLA, developed the cloud-based, modular platform, called Terminal Operating Modules (TOM), specifically for small and mid-sized terminals seeking to digitize workflows without a full system overhaul.
CTL has implemented TOM to digitalize container handling processes, boosting transparency and reducing manual work. The rollout took just eight weeks with minimal disruption to operations.
“Thanks to TOM, we’ve improved data quality and visibility while keeping our daily operations running smoothly,” said Alexander Berg, Head of Operations at CTL.
omoqo says TOM will continue to evolve with input from partners like CTL, allowing terminals to add features and scale at their own pace.
