OMODA & JAECOO, an automotive brand driving the future of mobility, has announced a strategic partnership with Maersk.

This collaboration establishes a robust warehousing and distribution solution to streamline the storage and delivery of spare parts, finished vehicles, and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) services across the UAE.

Maersk’s advanced logistics capabilities will ensure a 98% availability rate for spare parts and rapid delivery within 24 to 48 hours throughout the UAE. This partnership underscores OMODA & JAECOO’s commitment to delivering an exceptional ownership experience. The solution ensures consistent availability of essential spare parts for all OMODA & JAECOO models, including the flagship OMODA C5 and JAECOO J8.

Developed in collaboration with Maersk, the solution adheres to rigorous workflow standards, emphasizing both efficiency and accuracy, while it is designed to meet the requirements of dealers and customers swiftly, following best-in-class industry practices while offering seamless support for after-sales services.

Shawn Xu, CEO of OMODA & JAECOO Automobile International, mentioned: “Our partnership with Maersk is a crucial step in establishing a strong and efficient supply chain in the UAE. This collaboration will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support, from the moment they purchase a vehicle to ongoing maintenance and spare parts needs. This reinforces OMODA & JAECOO’s commitment to delivering not just pathbreaking innovative vehicles, but also a seamless ownership experience.”

As part of this service, Maersk will manage the inbound clearance of finished vehicles and spare parts from Jebel Ali Port, transporting them to a central facility. The advanced warehousing operations will employ a state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimize the management of spare parts and vehicle inventory. Maersk will also handle last-mile distribution, ensuring timely delivery to key locations across the UAE, including Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Ras Al Khaimah.

Lisa Park, Area Managing Director for UAE, Qatar and Oman at Maersk, explained: “Therefore, our partnership with OMODA & JAECOO represents a transformative approach to after-sales service, where technology and our thorough experience in warehousing & distribution meet precision. By establishing this solution, we’re setting a new benchmark for supply chain efficiency, ensuring that every OMODA & JAECOO customer experiences swift and superior support across the UAE.”
