Brazilian offshore vessel owner and services provider OceanPact has signed four new contracts with Petrobras, totalling approximately $582m (BRL 3.2bn).
The contracts are for the chartering of the Parcel do Bandolim, Parcel das Timbebas, Parcel das Paredes, and Parcel dos Reis ROV support vessels (RSVs) over four years.
The vessels will be employed in operations with ROVs for the inspection of subsea structures, preventive and corrective maintenance, installation and removal of subsea equipment, among other activities, across Petrobras’ offshore units.
According to the company, OceanPact will be responsible for the full operation of both the vessels and the ROVs.
In December 2024, the company announced the signing of a $126.7m contract, also with Petrobras, for the chartering of the Ilha do Mosqueiro offshore terminal support vessel for a four-year term.
