Noatum Maritime, part of AD Ports Group, has signed a five-year agreement with Bapco Upstream to provide marine services at Bahrain LNG Import Terminal (BLNG). The contract marks Noatum’s entry into LNG terminal towage operations.

The company will handle towage using LNG-compliant tugboats, berthing and unberthing of LNG carriers and Floating Storage Units, and 24/7 emergency response. Skilled pilots and crew will ensure safe and efficient operations.

Captain Ammar Mubarak Al Shaiba, CEO of AD Ports’ Maritime & Shipping Cluster, said the contract strengthens Noatum’s reputation and diversifies its services in Bahrain. Johann Pleininger, CEO of Bapco Upstream, added that the partnership enhances operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability at the LNG terminal.

The deal reinforces Noatum Maritime’s growing footprint in Bahrain and its global expansion strategy.
