Neptune Pacific announced a bunker adjustment factor surcharge applicable on all shipments effective 1st November 2025.
The BAF rates for shipments between Australia and South Pacific Islands are set at US$360 per TEU and US$21.18 per RVT.
For Australia to New Zealand routes, the rates are US$166 per TEU and US$9.76 per RVT.
New Zealand to South Pacific Islands shipments will incur charges of US$256 per TEU and US$15.06 per RVT, while New Zealand to Australia rates are US$261 per TEU and US$15.35 per RVT.
South Pacific Islands to Australia shipments are charged at US$360 per TEU and US$21.18 per RVT, while South Pacific Islands to New Zealand routes are set at US$256 per TEU and US$15.06 per RVT.
Inter-Island to Inter-Island shipments carry the highest rates at US$495 per TEU and US$29.12 per RVT.
Reefers to be applied at a trade coefficient of 1.5 per TEU of Dry, excluding to/from United States where Dry & Reefer bunkers are identical, while LSF for Asia/Europe/Africa to & from the Pacific Islands and BAF for USA, Norfolk Island and NZ/AU to Cook Island trade is communicated separately.
