MSC adds Zeebrugge, reshapes Pakistan service

According to DynaLiners, MSC has added Zeebrugge to its North West Continent (NWC)–Ireland feeder service, further strengthening its presence at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges hub. Zeebrugge now sits on the same loop as Antwerp, giving shippers more options for cargo flows between the two terminals.

The updated feeder rotation is: Antwerp – Zeebrugge – Dublin – Cork – Le Havre – Antwerp.
This addition improves connectivity between Ireland and two major Belgian ports while maintaining regular links to Le Havre.

At the same time, MSC has restructured its Pakistan coverage. The carrier has closed its dedicated Pakistan Feeder, which previously connected Colombo with Mundra and Port Qasim.

Instead, MSC has folded Port Qasim into the Malabar Express, which will now focus on calls at Colombo, Hambantota, Mundra, Karachi, and Port Qasim before returning to Colombo. The updated loop will be served by two vessels with an average capacity of 4,000 TEU.

As part of the change, the Malabar Express will no longer call at Vizhinjam, Nhava Sheva, and Hazira. MSC says the new setup will streamline connections and optimize capacity on the key trade corridor linking Sri Lanka, India, and Pakistan.

These adjustments continue MSC’s strategy of fine-tuning its regional networks to match customer demand and improve schedule reliability.
