On 10 September 2025, MEDLOG officially opened its new state-of-the-art cold chain logistics facility in Savannah, Georgia, designed to strengthen U.S. protein exports. The grand opening attracted over 200 customers, partners, and government representatives.
The 300,000-square-foot facility, dubbed the “Crown Jewel of the Cold Storage Industry,” features the largest blast freezing capacity in the U.S., capable of freezing three million pounds of raw protein every 24 hours—three times faster than the industry standard. It can store nearly 20,000 freezer and cooler pallets, with convertible zones ranging from –28.9°C to +4.4°C, accommodating a wide range of perishable goods.
Purpose-built for the protein industry, the facility offers 42 loading docks, supports rail cargo for inland distribution, and is located close to the Port of Savannah for seamless multimodal transport to global markets. Designed with sustainability in mind, it features solar power, advanced insulation, and energy-efficient refrigeration.
