Konecranes has completed the delivery and installation of six S-series overhead cranes at Contibelt Band Systeme GmbH’s manufacturing site in Stockerau, Austria. The cranes, with lifting capacities of 5–10 tons, will support the handling of heavy steel coils in production.
Installed in July 2025, the cranes feature anti-collision systems, tandem lifting for synchronized handling, variable frequency drives, and load positioning controls for precise placement.
Contibelt chose Konecranes after evaluating several manufacturers. “Only Konecranes was able to deliver a solution that met our requirements without altering the building. We’re very satisfied with the outcome,” said Mario Mihaljevic, Sales Manager at Contibelt.
The project builds on Konecranes’ earlier deliveries to Contibelt in 2017.
