Konecranes and TBA have merged their warehouse management and automation teams into a single division under Konecranes’ Industrial Equipment business area.
With a history in warehouse management systems dating back to the mid-1990s, TBA boasts an impressive customer portfolio. Renowned brands like British Gypsum, Culina, Pladis, Kuehne & Nagel, and Encirc use TBA’s flagship software, Autostore, for daily warehouse operations.
Konecranes complements this expertise with its Agilon warehouse automation system, a fully automated, self-contained solution designed to enhance productivity, speed up delivery times, and optimize space utilization.
By integrating these two business areas, the partnership opens new growth opportunities in warehouse management and automation. Customers from both companies will benefit from expanded expertise and capabilities, driving greater efficiency and productivity.
“I see this as a huge opportunity for TBA Leicester,” mentioned Managing Director Andrew McKaig. “Combining our team’s warehouse management and automation expertise with Konecranes’ technical abilities, brand awareness, and reputation will no doubt open the door to new customers – but it will also allow us to further improve our offering to our existing users.”
Agilon Director Vesa Hämetvaara agreed: “Agilon’s state-of-the-art storage system has revolutionized the operation of our customers’ warehouses. Combining this with TBA’s 30 years of warehouse management and automation experience and Autostore’s integration expertise is an exciting proposition for our team and customers.”
