Kalmar has signed a new agreement with Cagliari RoRo Terminal in Italy to supply eight heavy terminal tractors.
The order was booked in Kalmar’s Q2 2025 order intake, with delivery scheduled for Q4 2025. The terminal already operates a fleet of Kalmar equipment, and this latest order strengthens its capacity to meet growing cargo handling demands.
The new terminal tractors will be integrated with an advanced fleet management system, allowing Cagliari RoRo Terminal to optimize vehicle utilization, reduce downtime, and further streamline operations.
Franco Angioni, Managing Director of Cagliari RoRo Terminal commented that the local support from Kalmar Italia is exceptional, ensuring the timely access to OEM parts and responsive maintenance.
Fabio Mariani, Solution Sales Representative at Kalmar Italia, added that the heavy-duty terminal tractors are built to perform in the most demanding RoRo operations.
