Commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV) owner Integrated Wind Solutions (IWS) has secured an extension of the charter contract for one of its vessels.
The company won a 12-month extension for the IWS Skywalker CSOV. The charter is scheduled to begin at the end of the second quarter of 2026, in direct continuation of the current charter contracts.
Based on the latest reported backlog as of the third quarter of 2024, this contract represents an increase of more than 20% in the value of the backlog.
The vessel is currently operating on the Dogger Bank wind farm. The contract started in the fourth quarter of 2023. It is working on the first two phases of the development, Dogger Bank A and Dogger Bank B, until completion in 2025.
Another one of the company’s vessels has been contracted to work on the third phase of the wind farm – Dogger Bank C.
In recent company news, Integrated Wind Solutions moved for an uplisting on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The Awilco-backed outfit trades its shares on Euronext Growth Oslo and expects the switch to occur on or about February 3.
