Global display solutions manufacturer iiyama has renewed its partnership with GEODIS Netherlands by awarding them a third multi-year contract.

This agreement strengthens the collaboration that began in 2018, with GEODIS continuing to act as iiyama’s global distribution centre.

Over the past five years, GEODIS has efficiently handled iiyama’s B2B distribution, from individual shipments to full truckloads.

“These innovations are designed to elevate service levels and operational efficiency,” stated Henk Gerards, Director of Operations Contract Logistics at GEODIS Benelux.

As iiyama anticipates steady annual growth in the coming years, GEODIS Netherlands will introduce several optimizations, including improved storage solutions for irregularly sized pallets, advanced backward planning, and streamlined just-in-time order management.

Gerards continued: “This new multiyear contract underscores the mutual trust and strategic alignment between GEODIS and iiyama.”

The implementation of cutting-edge warehousing and transport management systems will further enhance communication, reduce lead times, and improve system integration.

“Sustainability is a top priority for both organizations. Moving forward, both companies are committed to reduce overall emissions. Renewing our partnership with GEODIS Netherlands highlights our shared values and the impressive outcomes we’ve accomplished together,” commented Jeffry Pettinga, Sales Director at iiyama Europe.
