ID Logistics and PepsiCo France have strengthened their partnership with the opening of a 56,000 m² warehouse in Dourges, designed to support the growth of PepsiCo’s snacking business in France.

ID Logistics has managed PepsiCo’s snacking activities since 2009 at the Libercourt site. The move to Dourges comes with a new six-year contract, confirming the long-term collaboration between the two companies.

The modern facility, located in the Delta 3 logistics zone, can store up to 52,000 pallets and features 55 loading docks. Built to BREEAM Excellent standards, it includes photovoltaic panels, EV charging stations, rainwater recovery, and optimised energy management. Its location also allows for future rail or river transport integration.

The warehouse is equipped with automation and digital tools to improve efficiency and safety:

  • Automatic docks for rapid truck unloading

  • Automated palletizing, packaging, and stacking systems

  • Autonomous forklifts for internal pallet transport

  • Digital traceability and monitoring via Free Scan and UWB technologies

All 95 employees from Libercourt have moved to Dourges, ensuring business continuity and transferring expertise. Special training programs support the adoption of new tools and processes, helping staff enhance their skills.

“With the Dourges site, we are supporting PepsiCo France in a project that combines operational performance, innovation, and respect for the environment. Its success relies on the commitment of our teams, who have been there since the beginning of this partnership,” said Eric Hémar, Chairman of ID Logistics.

“The opening of this site marks a strategic step for PepsiCo France. Modern and sustainable, it reflects our ambition to increase logistics efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to the region’s economic dynamism,” said Laurent Kamiel, Supply Chain Director of PepsiCo France.

The new warehouse combines flexible operations, automation, and sustainability, providing real-time visibility and improved efficiency while supporting the region’s economic and environmental goals.
