Hiab has expanded its presence in the United States by appointing MGX Equipment Services as a new dealer across 13 states. The agreement strengthens Hiab’s distribution and service network for HIAB loader cranes in key regions.

MGX Equipment Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Manitowoc Company. The company operates 13 locations across 11 US states and provides sales, rental, parts, service, and training for engineered lifting solutions.

Under the partnership, MGX will handle sales and service operations for Hiab in Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming. The move significantly improves Hiab’s coverage in regions that were previously underserved.

Hiab said the agreement supports its growth strategy in the North American market. The company expects the partnership to enhance customer access to premium products and services while strengthening its position in the US.

MGX highlighted that the deal will accelerate its expansion by improving direct customer engagement and service responsiveness. Both companies see the partnership as an opportunity to scale operations and expand their footprint across a broader range of lifting solutions.

The agreement marks another step in Hiab’s efforts to grow its smart and sustainable on-road load handling business in one of its most important markets.
