Im Oktober, dem Hafen von Osaka behandelt 190,844 TEU der Container oceangoing, markieren 11.8% Jahr-auf-Jahr zu erhöhen und Wachstum zu erreichen, für einen zweiten Monat in Folge. Die Exporte erreichten 88,664 TEU, 10%, während die Importe beliefen sich auf 102,220 TEU, bis 13,5 Prozent.

Darüber hinaus beladene Container entfielen 139,800 TEU, zu übersetzen, zu einem um 13,9% steigern, während die Exporte bei 40,087 TEU (+11,8%) und die Importe auf 99,713 TEU (bis 14.8%). Die restlichen 51,084 TEU wurden leere Behälter, worin 6.3% Wachstum.

Von Januar bis Oktober in den japanischen Hafen verarbeitet 1,67 Millionen TEU, zeigt eine marginale 1% Jahr-auf-Jahr Wachstum. Exporte während dieser Periode erreichte 747,071 TEU, down 1.9%, während die Importe stiegen um 3,5% auf 919,384 TEU.

Beladene container beliefen sich die Exporte auf 329,091 TEU um 2.6% und die Importe lag bei 890,241 TEU, um 3,5%, für eine Summe von 1,22 Millionen TEU, bis 3.2%. Jedoch, leere Behälter sank um 4,6% auf 447,122 TEU.
