GEODIS and Hapag-Lloyd have strengthened their digital partnership. They deployed a real-time solution to integrate shipping rates and service data.
The core of this collaboration is a Contract API. It creates a direct, system-to-system link between Hapag-Lloyd’s pricing platform and GEODIS’ global rate database. The API transmits contracted rates, surcharges, transit times, and service options automatically and in real time.
With this integration, GEODIS now accesses over 75% more Hapag-Lloyd rates instantly. Manual input has dropped, and operational accuracy has improved. Processes that once took up to five days now happen instantly.
Jan Naumann, Head of Export Trade Europe at GEODIS, said: “This shows how digital collaboration benefits customers. We deliver faster, more accurate data and smoother operations, while improving efficiency and responsiveness.”
Arne Zass, Director Digital Transformation at Hapag-Lloyd, added: “GEODIS’ team set a new standard for seamless connectivity and customer experience. Their expertise and energy drive innovative, sustainable logistics solutions.”
