Oslo’s Floatel has firmed up Floatel Victory for another Brazil maintenance and safety unit (MSU) run with Brava Energia, extending the flotel’s South American stay.
Floatel International said it has converted an October letter of intent into a six-month firm contract for the unit.
The 2013-built semisub starts in the fourth quarter of 2026, with extension options. It wraps the current assignment in early Q3 2026 – assuming options are called – then heads into planned maintenance before the next hitch.
The deal keeps Victory busy in Brazil after its ongoing campaign, underlining steady MSU demand in the region.
Floatel runs four semisub flotels (2010–2016 builds): two Norway-approved, all cleared for UK and global spots.
The latest extension gives Floatel earnings visibility into 2027 and highlights Brazil’s role as a flotels hotspot amid offshore maintenance ramps.
