ZIM has announced that fire broke out on one of its chartered ships, the 5,500 TEU Colorado, while the ship was sailing from the southern Chinese port of Yantian to Los Angeles.
No casualties were reported in the 24 September incident. The crew successfully contained the fire following an initial emergency response.
