Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has secured additional work with Brazilian state-owned oil and gas giant Petrobras.
A new contract was awarded to the 2009-built subsea construction vessel Skandi Salvador. It is contracted on a four-year charter with the Brazilian firm. The value of the contract is approximately $165m.
The vessel will operate with two work-class ROVs and a subsea crane. It is expected to be delivered in December 2025.
The contract was awarded following the same competitive tender process that resulted in the previously announced contract awards for the Skandi Achiever, Skandi Carla, and Geoholm.
The previously mentioned trio had its long-term inspection contracts amended. The addendum comprises additional scope of work, which is expected to be concluded by the end of 2025. The combined value of the addendum is over $50m.
